You challenge is to borrow the plotline of an existing book or movie, and give it an X-Files twist. This challenge is less to write a crossover than to insert XF characters into a familiar plot.

You may choose to reveal the tale you're altering in your headers or wait to the end, but please do one or the other.

A fairly lame example: the plot of a movie (the main character in The Bachelor must find a bride in 24 hours, or forfit a fortune) + an X-Files twist (hostile aliens) = your fic is about how Mulder must marry in 24 hours to stave off an alien invasion.
